Has a thorough understanding of the role of design systems/assets/importance of a VIS (And Beyond)

Is recognised by the client as an expert in the relevant category, consumer and culture that they are discussing, and has the confidence and language to present brand and design strategy and research with clients at the most senior level
Trusted by the team to create meaningful and inspiring strategy, which adds depth and value to the creative work,partnering with CDs in the design phases of projects, the Senior Strategist ensures the strategic integrity is maintained.
Impeccable presentation skills - fluid, well-paced, engaging - combines gravitas with likeability and approachability
Works closely with SL T and Directors to assist on new business development, gathering insights and identifying strategic and creative opportunities for in new business presentations
Has an appreciation for design, branding and materiality, can draw from a broad range of stimulus and inspiration to deliver a point of view
Responsibilities
STRATEGY PRODUCT
Leads the Strategy for designated clients, to ensure that all Strategic work delivers to the highest standard for our clients, sets us up for success in design, and helps us to achieve our business objectives
Writes thoughtful, design literate and inspiring presentations, briefs and decks, including stand alone strategic documents, creative briefs, and up front strategy for design presentations. Understands how to structure a presentation and deliver it with confidence.
Is confident to have strategic conversations with senior clients that display the breadth of their knowledge of categories, consumers and the market, and becomes the trusted voice of the brand in the design process
Is knowledgeable about latest marketing trends and thinking as well as the foundational principles of Brand and Design Strategy, understanding how they differ from advertising, and the different ways to approach these disciplines
In partnership with the global CCO and London's Head of Planning, help identify opportunities and gaps in our Strategic offer, and work to build our offer to fill them
Has a fantastic mind for detail and is able to take complex concepts and make them simple, with a focus on 'useful' strategy in the service of Creativity
Has a deep understanding of the different research methodologies, tools and techniques, how to use them and what to recommend. Can work closely with a research partner or a client's insights team
Has a capacity to identify potential strategic challenges with a client or project and offer appropriate solutions to

Qualifications
TEAM AND TD
Works with Client Services and Creatives teams to help build their understanding of Strategy and the role it plays
Supports Creatives to build compelling arguments and well structured presentations
Inputs into the writing of awards submissions and case studies to tell a compelling story
Develops articles and points of view for promotion, marketing and social media to broaden the reach of Turner Duckworth
Is engaged in New Business presentations when required, developing a clear point of view to build depth to our pitches and new business presentations
