CBRE have an opportunity for a Pitch Advisor to join our Central Pitch team, the Central Pitch team advises and supports the business on strategic pitch opportunities and implement CBRE's in-house, best practice approach to winning new business.

Working within the central Pitch Team based in London, under the direction of the head of the department, this opportunity will primarily see you work closely with the UK business to advise on 'Must Win' and strategic new business opportunities.

The Pitch Advisor supports the business by planning and assisting with the bids/pitch process and delivering best-in-class sales documents. The focus of this role is to manage the response process and engage with all parts of the business to ensure a professional, compliant, creative and compelling proposal is submitted. The role involves project managing the response and bid/pitch writing. The successful candidate is expected to contribute towards the development of best practice and bring ideas and fresh thinking and creativity to the team. The role involves leading and advising the wider pitch technical team for a formal pitch to the client, or preparing documents to support a written or RFP response.

In short, our job is to listen to the client, take a brief, understand and develop CBRE's proposition, find the best way to communicate a differentiated offer, and rehearse the teams' performance. We do this on across all service line in all geographies in the UK, often under tight time frames.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on and advising on selected 'must win' or strategic pitches.

• Applying the concepts of Finishing First to help define the pitch strategy and messaging through challenging the team.

• Working with the local team to identify the best method of delivery utilising a variety of channels, taking the client and culture into consideration.

• Enhancing delivery performance through facilitating rehearsals

• Working on selected projects to help drive change in the business and improve the overall conversion/win rate.

• Projects are varied and may include one-one coaching sessions, group training and interviewing members of the business to establish current capability and suggesting areas to improve.

• Facilitating competitive review sessions for specific teams.

• Working with other members of the pitch team to support the successful and sustainable implementation of Finishing First.

• Champion CBRE's BD platform across the business. Monitor Salesforce (Client IQ) to identify high priority pitches and ensure system is updated to reflect pitch progress and capture feedback.

• Running new joiner sessions, chairing learning lunches and challenging the status quo, sharing client feedback and pitch trends across the business - the goal being to make Finishing First a way of life at CBRE

Person Specification:

• Previous experience of working on developing bid and pitch content is essential, and whilst real estate experience is preferred, it is not essential.

• Passion for winning and driving continuous improvement in pitch performance is critical

• Ability to be creative and imaginative

• Excellent communication skills and able to work with people at all levels

• First-rate attention to detail with the ability to prioritise

• Able to work effectively with the business to promote key messages

• Previous experience of delivering feedback/coaching/training sessions is advantageous.
