Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy i.e. degree
- HCPC Registration
Desirable criteria
- Relevant post-graduate qualification or studies - i.e. PG Cert/Diploma/recognised relevant courses
Experience
Essential criteria
- Able to demonstrate a minimum of 12 months recent NHS experience as registered Physiotherapist
- Evidence of clinical physiotherapy experience in acute hospital environment
- Evidence of involvement in supporting other staff/students
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of completion of student educators course at a UK learning institution
- Evidence of participation in Physiotherapy on-call rota
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable knowledge of NHS discharge systems and processes
- Evidence of achievement of relevant B5 core physiotherapy competencies in current role including Respiratory
Desirable criteria
- Member of relevant special interest group
- Working knowledge of equipment services
- Driver with access to vehicle/other means of independent travel
