Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Evidence of Physiotherapy Degree
  • Evidence of HCPC registration

Desirable criteria

  • Evidence of CSP membership
  • Evidence of clinical interest group

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience in supervising students/band 5 therapists
  • Experience of working within an acute hospital environment
  • Experience of a broad range of postgraduate rotations
  • Experience of working within an MDT
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment

Desirable criteria

  • Evidence of participation/teaching in in-service training
  • Evidence of involvement in service improvement project/audit
  • Experience of working within Acute and Emergency Medicine
  • Experience of working in the NHS

Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • Evidence of good understanding of complex medical conditions
  • Evidence of knowledge for a broad range of physiotherapy assessment & treatment techniques relating to the clinical setting
  • Experience of clinical audits

Desirable criteria

  • Awareness of the wider local and national agenda around physiotherapy and NHS developments
  • Knowledge of the workings of community physiotherapy services and intermediate care services.
