Role Purpose

The Head of Financial Reporting focuses on gathering appropriate data, consolidating, analyzing and preparing documents required by government and regulatory agencies for financial reporting. The role holder will directs and oversee compliance efforts with the preparation, review, submission and distribution of financial reports required by governmental and regulatory agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial reporting process across the EU and UK including detailed variance analysis group results
• Lead the Hyperion/Oracle EPM project and be the owner of the application within Group Finance.
• Supporting monthly operating reviews and prepare for board and lender presentations
• Oversee all governance and compliance related matters including statutory reporting
• Ensure quality control over financial statements ensuring appropriate checklists are completed.
• Providing detailed analysis and actionable insights to business leads to drive performance
• Streamline and automate global reporting processes and activities to ensure the support of the future of the business and continuous acquisition integration
• Assist with managing the group's external tax compliance and audit processes.
• Review the month end numbers and results to ensure they are reconciled back to the Oracle General Ledger.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Strong Hyperion Strong Accounting knowledge, working across various GAAP standards
• Detailed oriented and understands high level strategy for finance transformation
• Strong leadership to drive and develop the team
