Essential criteria

• Registered as a pharmacy technician with GPhC
• BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences
• NVQ City and Guilds level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent

Desirable criteria

• Pre and In-process Accuracy Checking (PIPC) accredited qualification
• Product Approval Accreditation Programme (PAAP) qualification
• QCF Level 4 or above in a qualification relevant to the post.

Essential criteria

• Experience of working in the aseptic unit or hospital pharmacy
• Accuracy in dispensing process and use of computer software
• Ability to Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and members of the public

Desirable criteria

• previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role

Skills and Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work on initiative and as part of a team

Desirable criteria

• Demonstrate CPD development and maintain competencies necessary for registration
