Salary: Starting Salary is £39,513 (Level one) rising to £42,708 'pro rata for part-time'

About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of care-experienced young people? As a Senior Personal Advisor in our Leaving Care Service, you will play a key role in empowering young people to achieve their aspirations and successfully transition to adulthood.
In this role, you will bring extensive knowledge of the challenges faced by care-experienced young people and work closely with Team Managers to drive excellence in service delivery. Your strong organisational skills, effective communication, and experience in multi-agency collaboration will enable you to provide high-quality support and guidance.
With a deep understanding of safeguarding vulnerable individuals, you will support colleagues by offering expert advice and promoting best practices to ensure young people's safety and wellbeing. Your experience in delivering lead work areas and managing projects will be invaluable in developing innovative solutions and improving outcomes.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., in social work, youth work, or a related field) or significant equivalent experience working with care-experienced young people.
- Proven experience of case supervision, supporting, and mentoring colleagues to safeguard and improve outcomes for care-experienced young people, delivering lead work areas or managing projects that improve outcomes for young people, along with a strong track record in multi-agency collaboration and service improvement.
- A comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by care-experienced young people, statutory responsibilities in leaving care services, and safeguarding principles to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to provide expert advice, inspire colleagues, and confidently navigate complex situations to deliver high-quality support and guidance.
- This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
- The role requires hybrid working however requires you to participate in an office based duty rota.
