Job Title: Senior People Partner

Location: Aberdeen, Hybrid 2+ Days per week in the office

Salary: £70,000+ depending on skills and experience

Job Title: Senior People Partner

Reporting to our Chief People Office the Senior People Partner acts as a trusted partner, working closely with management and employees providing hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice on all people-related matters.

The Senior People Partner will be expected to work at all levels - strategic, operational, and tactical as well as influence effectively across all levels of the company, build and maintain strong working relationships and navigate through ambiguity, recognizing when it is appropriate to introduce more structure and process without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

Passionate about setting people up for success, the Senior People Partner will be a driver of ensuring everyone has clarity and accountability in their roles, creating and supporting a high performance mentality.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

Rovco is an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to change as we grow, upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming a trusted partner to managers and key business leaders. Recognized for their People knowledge and insights.
  • Responsible for and drive improvements to the end-to-end employee lifecycle and employee experience. This covers talent management, employee relations, coaching/development, compliance, compensation and benefits, culture, and organizational design and development.
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of key drivers of engagement and be able to take targeted action to enhance the employee experience.
  • Experienced working across all levels; strategic, operational, and tactical as well as ability to influence effectively across all levels of the company.

  • Significant experience as a Senior Business Partner in the offshore industry with demonstratable impact in creating workplaces where people love to work
  • Experienced at introducing new People tools and processes into the business at the right time to get maximum impact, creating a high-performance culture without unnecessary bureaucracy. Able to harness the power of technology to facilitate business growth.
  • Clear, concise, effective communicator. Persuasive, can debate and challenge within the team and with peers across the company.
  • Very strong ability to use quantitative data and metrics to drive decision making that will impact business success.
  • Identifies work that needs to be done, proposes solutions, and executes independently.
  • A culture champion with a genuine belief in company values and a passion for making the company a great place to work.
  • Progressive, inclusive and passionate about widening access into demographically unbalanced industries.

  3. Aptitude Test: Demonstrate your critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and workplace personality through an aptitude test.
  4. Team Interview: Engage in a 1-hour 30 minute interview with a few team members. Experience the role first-hand and share your skills and experience. We'll discuss our technologies, key skills, and team dynamics. As always, feel free to ask any questions you may have.
  5. Executive Conversation: Meet with an executive for a 30-minute discussion. This is your opportunity to express your thoughts on the role and ask any final questions. We'll clarify expectations and ensure this role aligns with your aspirations.
