Senior People Partner

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

About Us

We're a full-scale, energy-saving, B-Corp certified, sustainably powered vertical farm. We're on a mission to transform the farming system forever, so that everyone can afford tasty nutritious food, that doesn't cost the earth. Literally.

In other words: we boldly grow where no one has grown before. Our state-of-the-art salad leaves are made possible by an incredible team of rocket scientists (see what we did there?), engineers, leaf whisperers, and a root network of fabulous people. Which brings us onto the role...

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior People Partner to drive company-wide people initiatives and build high performing teams that you partner with.

We have big ambitions. Our goal is to empower our teams to exceed expectations and foster a culture of growth and development for every team member.

As a Senior People Partner you will focus on:

  • People Partnering (approximately 30%): Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to three client groups (ca 35 headcount): our Leaf Lab in Cambridge, our Commercial team in London and our Finance & Impact team in Edinburgh. Partner with our Directors, Head-ofs and Managers - helping them become better business & people leaders.
  • Our Culture (50%): Lead company-wide initiatives like diversity & inclusion, engagement surveys, and implementing our goal-setting approach to drive our people strategy forward.
  • Learning & Development (20%): Work with internal stakeholders, understand what our learning needs are and build a strategy to bring it to life.

You'll report to Henrik, our People Director, and become an integral part of our close-knit People team.

To ensure strong connections with your stakeholders, we recommend spending one day a week at our Cambridge lab, two days a week at our King's Cross office, and making occasional trips to Edinburgh.

Requirements
