Our Pensions Administration business continues to grow and we are now looking for an experienced and excel savvy Pensions Analyst to join our vibrant office with remote or hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar or pension role where they have gained knowledge and experience of scheme events, complex calculations and project related work.

The Role

As a Senior Pensions Analyst with XPS you will...

• Annual pension increase exercises for schemes supported by the team
• Production of annual benefit statements, Pension Savings Statements and SMPI statements (as required)
• Perform Complex calculations / checking and authorising cases - supporting admin on some individual cases
• Complete Scheme Returns for each scheme, liaise with actuarial and investment colleagues as appropriate and clients
• Bespoke project work as directed by Team Leader/Manager
• Checking and authorising other team members' work
• Compliance with ISO and AAF accreditations
• Completing updates to the database to ensure that records are accurately maintained / data cleansing

Your profile

• Educated in Maths or similar would be highly desirable or qualified by experience
• Basic knowledge of pensions or within Ministry of Justice
• Previous experience within a similar role or where it has involved alot of data cleansing and use of Excel would be considered
• Proficient of Microsoft Excel at Advanced level
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
