Senior Pension Fund Finance Officer (Governance)
Role Responsibility
Kent County Council (KCC) has an exciting opportunity for a KR9 Senior Pension Fund Finance Officer (Governance), within the Pensions & Treasury Service, Finance Division. Please note that the primary location of the role is Invicta House, Maidstone, with the possibility of office and home working depending on business needs. The vacancy is offered full time, permanent. We also welcome applications from candidates willing to work part-time; please state your preferred number of hours per week in your application.
This pivotal role involves working closely with the Senior Accountant - Employer Governance, Compliance and Funding, and our other colleagues administering Kent Pension Fund. The postholder will have responsibility for providing wide ranging Employer support to the Fund. Furthermore, they will be required to give effective oversight of participating employer membership arrangements. Please see attached job description for full details. The role will involve some team working, and preparing information that is timely and accurate to meet fixed, non-negotiable deadlines. As such, the post holder will require excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office (Excel) and have experience of working in a finance environment.
