Senior Penetration Tester - CHECK Team Leader

Nationwide provider of cyber security services, digital forensics and eDiscovery. Providing services to all business sectors, including law firms, insurance providers and law enforcement agencies.

The Role
A fast growing Nationwide provider of Cyber Security Services, digital forensics and eDiscovery is seeking a CREST accredited penetration tester to join the cyber security team. Candidates for this position should qualify for CHECK Team Leader status, having successfully completed either the CREST Certified Infrastructure Tester or the CREST Certified Web Application Tester examination, or hold a senior CRT designation with the necessary training and a strong aspiration to achieve CTL status during probationary period.

Senior Penetration Tester responsibilities include;

• Leading and delivering CREST/CHECK accredited penetration testing engagements.
• Documenting and improving our penetration testing process.
• Performing authenticated and unauthenticated penetration tests against web servers, externally facing systems and standard on premise infrastructure.
• Produce clear, professional remediation plans for vulnerabilities and security risks identified during penetration tests.
• Recommend changes to existing infrastructure for clients, including firewall rules, access controls and server configurations (e.g., web servers, Windows Server infrastructure, databases and VMs) following testing.
• Aiding commercial team in new client acquisition through technical scoping calls, the development of new proactive security services and presenting security audit findings to senior stakeholders.

Senior Penetration Tester Requirements Include;

• Travel at short notice to perform onsite cyber security audits.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a flexible approach to work with a high level of self motivation.
• Exercise discretion and confidentiality
