Job Description

This role supports our Organisational Effectiveness agenda, helping to deliver our business strategy by focusing on organizational structures, principles and sizing to enable efficient and effective development of our products, services and business plans. This role is a senior position working directly with senior leaders, HRBPs and head of Strategic Workforce to both manage our regional OD processes, plans and principles, as well as designing and delivering interventions to enable change.

Why this role is important to us

As with most businesses, Experian UK&I's growth agenda requires us to be adaptable and change to lead the market. We are evolving into an Agile business and this role will be integral to that journey - as our expert on Organisation Design, Agile behaviours and Change.

This role sits within the HR business partnering and Organizational Effectiveness team and requires a good depth of consultant skills.

Qualifications

What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian

  • Experience of developing and applying Organisation Design process, tools and methodology, including team topologies
  • Deep understanding of the full OD cycle and managing this at a strategic C-Suite level. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the principles at a UKI level and we are therefore not simply looking for project execution on bespoke OD's.
  • Experience of working in and supporting the embedding of Agile ways of working, especially how leaders of non-technical teams need to adapt to a new and different way of leading
  • Great relationship and stakeholder skills, the ability to work as a thought partner, consultant and advisor
  • Management of Design authorities/forums and OD controls in partnership with Reward and wider HR. It is helpful therefore to have a good grasp of employment law and change because the impacts of proposals on the workforce are critical for execution.

Work that matters - What you'll be doing

  • Defining and leading our UKI design authorities, ensuring that our agreed OD principles are managed to create maximum impact on our organizational effectiveness Agile culture.
  • Partner, design and implement on major UKI blueprints and TOMs for the region ensuring plans are well aligned across multiple stakeholder groups and are implementable.
  • Partnering with the Head of SWP on ensuring the organization both onshore and in Hyderabad and Bulgaria are built to create the right skills in the right locations at the right time.
  • Working with Reward on the roll out of our global career frameworks and working in detail to ensure we have the right organizational pyramid, levels and career pathways to feed into our longer term organizational vision.

More about you

  • Client focused and commercially astute with a strong understanding of Tech businesses, the context and markets in which they operate.
  • Not purely a consultant - able to act, implement and partner through to delivery on all recommendations.
  • Is a thought partner, a trusted counsel and a valued voice, providing innovative ideas, provocation, influence and challenge to the management / leadership teams
  • Credible and confident, displaying great energy, impact, gravitas, conviction, passion and drive in everything they do, with good levels of emotional intelligence and common sense.
  • Insight-led with the ability to use data to inform discussions, challenge and influence the business to help shape our business and people
  • Able to present sound and well-reasoned arguments to convince others. Can draw from a range of strategies to persuade people in a way that results in agreement or behaviour change.
  • Has a learning mindset and looks outside to seek external industry best practice, identifying trailblazer initiatives, translating these into actionable solutions to challenge our current ways of working.
