Who you will work with...

The Oracle Fusion Team sits within the Applications Operations Centre, and as a whole we are responsible for the 3rd line support of Software Systems at Lancashire County Council and its partner organisations. The Oracle Fusion Team focusses on the successful delivery and support of the Fusion platform, and its related technologies.

We are a very supportive and close-knit team; and encourage an environment of psychological safety, where members of the team are encouraged to put forward ideas, suggest new ways of working, or learn about other technologies the team supports.

We are a process-driven organisation aligning to ITIL methodologies, and previous experience with IT Service Management is desirable.

What we are looking for...

An experienced professional: As a senior member of the team, you should have at least three years' commercial experience working with Oracle Fusion HCM or reports. We are looking for candidates with a track record of scoping, designing, implementing, testing, and supporting solutions in ITIL aligned organisations. You should be able to think strategically, drive innovation, and demonstrate a logical approach to problem-solving.

A team player: You will need excellent communication skills to engage and involve other technical SMEs within Digital Services. You should be able to form close working relationships with stakeholders such as Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Customers, and our Assurance and Quality Control Teams. You should be articulate, open minded, confident, and able to communicate for your audience.

A commitment to customer satisfaction: Our customers are key to our organisation, and you should demonstrate a history of building strong customer relationships. You will be working with everyone from directors to front-line staff, and you should be able to present a professional image that reflects the values of Digital Services and Lancashire County Council.

An ability to manage ambiguity: You will have a diverse portfolio of work with competing demands. You will need to respond to changes in priority to deliver your workload in the most efficient way. You will manage your work stack independently utilising the tools at your disposal whilst keeping the key stakeholders up to date on your progress.

Why join us...

Benefits: There's great flexibility with hybrid working, up to 32 days annual leave plus bank holidays, two additional days at Christmas, and the opportunity to purchase an additional 20 days. We have a generous Local Authority pension with shared AVCs, and there is a benefits package including discounts at major retailers, salary-sacrifice car leasing, long service awards, support groups, cycle to work schemes, eye tests, and more.

Development: You'll get support and development along the journey.

Inclusivity: We don't believe "one size fits all." We embrace diversity and inclusion. If you need to work from home or vary your hours, we can accommodate. Delivering successful outcomes is more important than watching the clock.
