Education and qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Evidence of personal development
Desirable criteria
- HDN in medical photography
- BSc Health science (Ophthalmic Imaging)
Knowledge, Training and experience
Essential criteria
- Imaging experience at band 3 ophthalmic Imager
- Experience in photography/illustration and multimedia
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing and databases
- Able to undertake Retinal Fluorescein Angiography and anterior segment photographic techniques
Desirable criteria
- Basic knowledge and understanding of ophthalmic anatomy and physiology and disease processes
- Knowledge of video conferencing, recording and sound software
- Experience in using digital photographic techniques
