About the role
As a Senior Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in the production process and, alongside your team, ensure production needs are met or surpassed. You're going to be responsible for both manual and automated production equipment, as well as working with a variety of reporting systems. We want to see how you will optimise our production processes to maximise our performance.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete a variety of manual tasks which require periods of lone-working and working with vibration equipment. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be comfortable with manual handling and will thrive in an autonomous environment.
You'll work safely within your team, ensuring that you are delivering collective performance. You will develop operational, improvement, and maintenance skills to support operations and be accountable for the delivery of effective communications to team members and the site leadership team.
Health and safety compliance is key, and you'll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other Key Performance Indicators and targets including quality, efficiency, energy management, planning and cost efficiency.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems!
You'll make this role your own. We want you to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. Both roles present a great opportunity to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and showcase your excellent communication skills]]>
