Job Description
As we continue to grow within our Defence sector, we have a great opportunity for you to join us as our Senior Operations Manager based in our Telford depot, adding value by leading and being responsible for the delivery of all contractual KPIS, budget requirements and colleague engagement.

Note: This role requires security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the delivery of all contractual KPI's and budget requirements, whilst delivering a culture of efficency, Operational Excellence and continuous improvement.
- Prepare annual ops budget, along with developing and executing customer satisfaction improvement plans.
- Build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure first class operational performance which results in long term partnerships.
- Ensure that a best-in-class HSE performance is achieved within the sites and that a culture of safety in everything we do is embedded.
- Ensure contract change is applied in accordance with process, ensuring robust governance is applied.
- Organise and lead appropriate business cadence to include regular, formal reviews and reports.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders across Procurement and Operational teams.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all operational matters, including requests and escalations as needed.
- Develop 'internal' network (across Sectors and central functions), to leverage multifaceted solutions. Key collaboration with Account and Business Development teams.
- Communicating and liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth & effective client experience.

- Proven Operational leadership experience (within Supply Chain/Logistics), with good commercial awareness and a commitment to providing customers with the highest standards of service.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels (internally/externally).
- Innovative mindset through to execution with results.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Experience delivering client focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects always whilst maintaining sharp attention to detail.
