Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking for your next challenge? Ground Control Ltd is seeking a talented Senior Operations Manager to drive the success of our Utility Arboriculture team.

About the Role:

As the Senior Operations Manager, you`ll report directly to the Operations Director and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery of our Utility Arb Vegetation management contracts. You`ll oversee a dynamic team of Contract Delivery Managers, fostering a culture of excellence in safety, quality, and operational delivery while driving business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Leading and mentoring Contract Delivery Managers to surpass client and internal KPIs.

• Executing the strategic vision for the Utility Arboriculture division.

• Mobilising new contracts and embedding best practices across the division.

• Championing safety and ensuring compliance at every level.

• Managing budgets, programmes, and contractual negotiations.

• Reporting on performance metrics, including safety and profitability.

What We`re Looking For:

This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a proven track record in Utilities, Construction, or Facilities Management, who is ready to inspire a diverse team.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Extensive contract management experience in utilities or construction.

• Exceptional leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and driving success.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and optimise resources.

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.

• Commitment to safety, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
