Experience
Essential criteria
- Ability to demonstrate consolidated clinical experience at senior level in appropriate clinical specialities
- Able to work alone and as part of a team
Desirable criteria
- ability to demonstrate relevant clinical experience
- Experience in neuroscience area of practice.
Skills
Essential criteria
- Evidence of people management
- Must be a driver or havethe ability to move themselves independently around in the wider community as required.
- Must be lierate, numerate and possess advanced verbal communication skills.
- Be able to demonstrate consolidation of assessment and interventions to manage cognition/ deficit.
- Be able to demonstrate skills in the management of acute poly- trauma patients
Desirable criteria
- experience in service development or service audit.
- experience of acting as a student professional practice educator.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- HCPC registration
- Recognised Degree/ Msc in Occupational Therapy
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of advanced communication training
- Evidence of Post graduate studies in Neurosciences / neuro- rehabilitation.
- Evidence of consolidation of knowledge by completion of core OT rotations, including neuro experience
