Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with HPC

Desirable criteria

  • Post graduate courses
  • Fieldwork Education

Knowledge/Skills

Essential criteria

  • Knowledge of Occupational therapy models of practice
  • Experience of supervising junior staff and students
  • Knowledge and application of assessment and interventions relevant to physical disabilities
  • Ability to analyse professional and ethical issues
  • Understanding of clinical governance and risk
  • Ability to reflect & critically appraise own performance
  • Ability to prioritise, delegate & organise
  • Ability to respond efficiently to complex information
  • Experience and ability to work as part of a broad multidisciplinary team, across organizational boundaries
  • Computer literacy

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of teaching junior staff and students
  • Presentation skills

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
