Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Holds Functional Skills Level 1 Maths and English or education equivalent (GCSE)
• NVQ 3 or equivalent

Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Experience working in a healthcare organisation/setting, undertaking a wide range of clinical commitments
• Experience of dealing with patient/relative complaints as appropriate
• Knowledge of Infection Control & Safeguarding processes

Desirable criteria

• Able to undertake clinical observations i.e., blood pressure and pulse

Experience

Essential criteria

• Worked at a band 2 Nursing Assistant or equivalent

Desirable criteria

• Experience of working in an acute care environment, undertaking a full range of clinical commitments to NVQ Level 3
• Experience of working in more than one speciality within a health care environment
• Experience of paediatric plebotomy
