Person specification
Qualification
Essential criteria
- Good standard of education and English language.
- Worked at a band 2 Nursing Assistant or equivalent
- Holds a level 3 Vocational Qualification (e.g. NVQ or Apprenticeship) in clinical health care OR equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Speciality specific training and evidence of competencies being achieved and continued development
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Understanding of child development and how complex needs can affect development
- Communication skills
- Time management
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of complex health needs in children
EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
- Previous experience of working within a hospital / care setting.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of working in a care setting with children
- Experience of children with complex needs / disabilities
- Experience of working in community
- Experience of lone working
