• Evidence of Professional Development
• Previous Leadership role

Desirable criteria

• Emergency Department experience
• Management course
• ALS/ATNC/TNCC
• Evidence of research/audit undertaken

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to perform risk assessments
• To be assertive
• Facilitate inter-professional learning
• Must have a good understanding of the Trust policies and procedures
• To have upto date knowledge in the agenda for Emergency Care and Access
• Be able to deal with complaints
• To undertake the role of the clinical shift coordinator

Desirable criteria

• Evidence of up to date mentor and preceptorship skill
• Evidence of link roles
• Experience in managing skill mix
• Experience in completing Fundamental audits
