About The Role
Here at InHealth, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a Senior Registered Nurse with experience in an endoscopy setting.
You will deliver Endoscopy services for our brand new Community Diagnostic Centre in Yeovil to the highest standards, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical and social needs of our patients.
The Community Diagnostic centre is due to open in January 2025.
What you will do:
- Take ownership and fulfil the requirements of any required statutory and mandatory training
- Deliver endoscopy services in our sites to the highest standards for our patients, carrying out pre, peri and post endoscopy care
- Complete competency assessments
- Lead teams of registered nurses and healthcare workers, escalating clinically where appropriate.
- Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide a safe care environment, including preparing and clearing up rooms and equipment, with particular care over infection control.
About you:
- An experienced Senior Endoscopy Registered Nurse, with an advanced diploma of higher education in Nursing.
- A team player who is supportive, reliable, and trustworthy, who gets stuck in and creates a positive atmosphere
- Experienced in working in a multidisciplinary team
- A great communicator at all levels - written, verbal and listening
- A person who naturally instils confidence in everyone they work with
- Calm in challenging situations, working well under pressure.

* This includes colleagues delivering face to face patient care in the Targeted Lung Health Check mobile units, Endoscopy, AAA Screening, Breast Screening, PET-CT, Audiology, Mobiles, Imaging Centres and CDC's. Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn't apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
