Essential criteria

• HNC/Degree in Medical Physics/Physiological Measurement or other relevant subject or a DCR/BSc Radiography
• Accredited nuclear medicine technologist training such as IPEM or equivalent including nuclear medicine practical competencies
• Eligibility for admittance to the Register of Clinical Technologists/HCPC registration e.g. degree or equivalent plus specialist training.

• significant experience in nuclear medicine

Skills

Essential criteria

• Ability to plan/prioritise nuclear medicine procedures
• Technical competency with gamma cameras and associated equipment
• Competent in Nuclear Medicine radiopharmaceutical manufacturing or stress testing
• Knowledge of the appropriate legislation e.g. ARSAC, IRR17, IRMER 2017
• Good command and understanding of the English language, written and oral.
• Competence in venepuncture, cannulation and IV administration

Desirable criteria

• Knowledge of ECG interpretation
