About the role

As our Senior NPD Technologist, you will be responsible for helping to nurture and grow the CT skincare portfolio, managing day-to-day product developments of next generation innovative NPD, with the support of the Lead Skincare Manager. This role requires a technical / science-led skincare manager with SPF expertise that will develop speciality skincare products, and contribute to troubleshooting as required across the Skincare team.

As our Senior NPD Technologist, you will:

• Contribute and help to ideate skincare NPD and future opportunities for the brand with a focus on science and industry-leading innovation - including scientific active ingredient research and coordination with Regulatory team
• Have full cross-functional CPA management and delivery of projects - coordinating and delivering innovative and luxurious products on time and within budget
• Display strong formulation / technical knowledge.
• Support with presenting project submissions, ingredients and blue-sky product/ideas to Senior Leadership Team team, in an informative, visual and inspiring presentation style
• Display strong knowledge and expertise of the skincare competitor market with a particular focus on SPF, gathering and sharing industry research and analysis
• Analyse CT and industry skincare sales market data
• Coordinate and track testing of supplier samples and NPD submissions within the team (+ external testing where required) - collating valuable feedback and direction to review with the Lead Skincare Manager
• Utilise your knowledge of claims testing procedures and protocols
• Maintain and build skincare supplier relationships day to day
• Work at pace and use initiative to keep momentum and find creative solutions when faced with challenges
• Look after cost management / negotiation with suppliers on all aspects of projects

• NPD, Quality, Regulatory, Packaging, Brand Marketing and Supply Chain

About you

• Technical background, with skincare formulation, process and manufacturing experience.
• Have expertise in SPF developments.
• Have keen knowledge of skincare ingredients and technologies
• Have strong project management CPA expertise
• Be highly organised and enjoy working on multiple complex projects
• Possess strong research and presentation skills and be advanced in PowerPoint
• Be confident and have experience mentoring other team members
• Need to be adaptable - able to work to deadlines and changeable requirements
• Be experienced and willing to manage both day to day support tasks, whilst also having the ability to work with/present to senior team members
• Willingness to lean in, give technical support on cross functional projects
