Job Summary
Kiwa Product Compliance (KPC) have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll take full ownership of both customer and KPC internal projects. From project planning and risk management to finance and project execution, you'll oversee every stage to ensure successful delivery. This position is based at our Aylesbury office.

About the role
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Ensure KPC metrics are met with regards to service delivery, and appropriately manage the team involved in the day-to-day running of projects
- Mitigate risk to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Lead all project communication between KPC and customers, lead project conference calls as needed
- Maintain open channels of communication with all stakeholders
- Lead key research projects (internal and paid customer enquiries), to maintain KPC internal databases, and further expand our scope for business development opportunities
- Create and maintain project management resources, such as customer procedures, lessons learnt
- Mentor team and aid in their development, building their project management experience to support project delivery
- Maintain awareness of regulatory intelligence developments pertaining to assigned customers and manage projects arising from regulatory developments
Project Management:
- Overall management of projects from start to completion
- Prepare quotations (as needed)
- Kick off, progress and close projects using KPC custom project software
- Verify accuracy of project scope in KPC custom project software (when threshold is met)
- Project problem solving
- Handle all project related finance issues such as overspend, cancellations and WIP
- Pro-actively drive projects towards successful completion; encourage KPC colleagues to do the same
- Monitor overall project progress, reporting at least weekly to customers
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience of international Type Approval and certification schemes
- Ability to take sole responsibility for assigned customer project portfolios
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Relevant experience of managing customers' expectations
- The ability to work cohesively with all stakeholders for a mutual outcome
- Relevant experience of balancing the needs of customers, shareholders and colleagues
- Dynamism for problem solving and teamwork
- Aptitude for accuracy
- Exceptional communication, leadership and interpersonal skills at all levels
- The ability to engage and influence colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives
What can you expect from us in return?
- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
- Generous Annual Leave - Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, office-based role.
