Job Description

ALTEN Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect Engineer with expertise in shipbuilding and ship design to join our growing team. If you have a strong background in marine environments and thrive on technical challenges, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of cutting-edge projects in the maritime industry.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to ship design and shipbuilding projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct structural calculations, stress loading analysis, and stability assessments to support design optimization.
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to develop detailed technical drawings and models.
• Ensure adherence to marine standards and regulations throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient marine engineering solutions.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience working in marine environments.
• Proven experience in shipbuilding and ship design.
• Strong knowledge of marine standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Expertise in structural calculations, stress loading analysis, and stability calculations.
