Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to oversee the implementation of Intune and SCCM designs for a Windows 11 installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining SCCM (MECM) as a platform and ensuring seamless device management through Intune.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of Intune and SCCM solutions for Windows 11 deployment.
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain SCCM/MECM as a platform.
  • Manage and configure Windows devices within Intune, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Work with hybrid Entra and SCCM/Intune co-management to streamline device and security policies.
  • Configure and manage Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO) to support enterprise-wide Windows device management.
  • Utilize native Microsoft vulnerability management tools to enhance security posture.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for endpoint management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize deployment strategies and troubleshoot technical issues.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in deploying, managing, and maintaining SCCM/MECM as a platform.
  • Strong experience in deploying and managing Windows devices using Intune.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Experience with hybrid Entra and SCCM/Intune co-management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft-native vulnerability management tooling.
  • SC clearance is required.
  • Ideally, MD-102 certified (Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate).

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Nessus vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Knowledge of Nexthink for endpoint analytics and user experience monitoring.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be reliable and flexible.
  • Hours of work will be between 08:00 - 18:00, with an 8-hour working day staggered across the 10-hour timeframe.

Essentials

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must be able to attain a UK Security Clearance
