Job Role

Burgess Hill is recruiting for Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team of professionals that include Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Social Workers and OTs. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will work across the hospital under the supervision of a qualified nurse, supporting our patients in their recovery.

What we need from you:

  • At Least 2 Years Previous experience in a healthcare role (preferably mental health)
  • Ability to keep calm in challenging situations
  • An understanding of mental health conditions
  • Resilience
  • Encouraging and supportive approach
  • A caring nature with strong listening skills
  • Thrives within a team led environment

Skills and Knowledge

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly
  • Basic Literacy skills

Qualifications

  • Education to GCSE Standard
  • NVQ or equivalent would be an advantage

About Priory Group

Priory Hospital Burgess Hill has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our Team; in September 2023 we opened a third ward which is a 10 bedded male adult PICU.

The hospital is currently split across three units:

  • EA - male psychiatric intensive care ward
  • AJ - male psychiatric intensive care ward
  • MS - acute general adult male-only ward

New members of our team have an exceptional opportunity to help shape the future of our services and a genuine chance to be part of transforming them. With a renewed focus on quality and excellence at its heart the service aims to grow and extend its current offering.
