Senior Mental Health Practitione

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The NHS long term plan and the Community Mental Health Framework (2019) outline an ambitious vision for the transformation of community mental health services across England. You will be joining Pennine Care at an exciting time as we respond to this challenge by implementing the 'Living Well' model of care and support for people with complex mental health needs who are not accessing specialist services. We are re-designing existing services with new investment in clinical and non-clinical roles to create multi-disciplinary teams that offer person-centered, trauma informed and holistic support.

We envisage our existing Access function will change and integrate into the Living Well multi-disciplinary team. We are currently consulting with staff as we want to reflect a strengthened emphasis in current roles on multi-disciplinary working, particularly with the Voluntary Sector, Housing, Employment and Substance Use partners.

We wish to emphasise that we are not recruiting to at-risk roles; all advertised positions are secure and permanent. Instead, you will join us at a point where we are working together with our staff and people with lived experience to develop new ways of working, building on existing roles, and with opportunities for you to make an active contribution to the development of our future offer to the communities of Oldham.
