Role overview

The Patient Pathway Manager supports with the NHS and Private pathways on a day-to-day basis by ensuring that all administration processes are efficient, accurate and fit for purpose. The key objective is to ensure that the team provides the highest quality of patient care and to contribute to the company's capacity for rapid growth. The Patient Pathway Manager will have the opportunity to shape and motivate administration and business processes to enhance clinic performance to achieve set targets and to deliver outstanding results.

The Patient Pathway Manager will be responsible for the management of all administration in support of the activity within Outpatients and Theatre in order to facilitate the smooth running of the service, for both NHS and Private patients.

The Patient Pathway Manager will be a hands on leader, exemplifying the Newmedica behaviours to ensure patients have an exceptional and safe experience.

What skills and experience do I need?

  • Previous healthcare experience.
  • Preferable experience in managing a team.
  • Good IT skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a complex administrative environment
  • Accustomed to learning new systems with a view to learn to a level which allows you to teach and coach others.
  • First class telephone manner, being able to tailor conversations according to the purpose of the call.
  • Enjoys a challenge and has a good problem-solving attitude.
  • Exceptional organisation and multi-tasking skills.
  • Comfortable with presenting to others.
