Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client is looking for a senior mechanical engineer on their water projects. This role will require travel to various sites within the Yorkshire area. In this role you will be responsible to co-ordinate all mechanical engineering functions in pre & Post contract award and achieve a successful outcome technically, commercially to the client's requirements on the project.

Key responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate the services for their proper integration into the Treatment works and liaise with other disciplines
• Oversee the production of all drawings including plant and sub-contract layouts to ensure co-ordination.
• Provide support to the Project Quantity Surveyor on commercial matters.
• Undertake & manage all labour/direct material matters
• With the Site Manager carry out regular Sub-Contract Project Reviews to plan, progress and monitor installations.

You will need:

• CSCS card & SSSTS / SMSTS & 1st Aid at Work
• Diploma or Degree qualified
• Technical knowledge of Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Water & Waste water Operations
• Experience of both pre-production and production mechanical project engineering.
• Industry experience in a similar role.
