What you'll be doing
An opportunity has arisen for a creative, strategic, experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join the Hachette Children’s Group multi-award-winning marketing team. This is a particularly exciting moment to join the division as we enter a new chapter complete with audience-focused new imprints and major brand-building ambitions.
This is a key senior role in the team, with responsibility for delivering industry-leading, commercially effective marketing campaigns for some of HCG's biggest books and brands. You will have a particular leadership focus in the area of marketing for frontlist new launches, as well as overseeing the marketing department's digital marketing strategy and output.

Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will have significant proven marketing experience at Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager, ideally within or relevant to the children’s book industry. Creativity is vital, married with strategic thinking, commercial awareness, digital expertise and a firm focus on results. Ambitious, innovative and resourceful, you will be buzzing with ideas and the knowledge of how to translate them into action while inspiring the team around you. You will be a strong project manager and a first-rate communicator, with prior line management experience or management training.

The role will be based at our London, Sheffield, or Edinburgh office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
