Senior Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive business growth and strengthen brand presence. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on delivery across all marketing channels, including social media, digital, events, and campaigns. You will ensure seamless alignment across channels to achieve core objectives, while driving growth and enhancing both B2B and B2C brand impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align marketing activities with strategic business goals and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Drive lead generation initiatives by developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns that attract and convert high-quality prospects across relevant channels.
  • Develop and implement brand building campaigns and activities across B2B and B2C.
  • Appraise and deliver creative solutions that support strategic objectives.
  • Analyse campaign performance and report on results, using data to optimise future activities.
  • Stay current with AI, automation, and the latest social media algorithms to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Manage at least one direct report and provide leadership within the marketing team.
  • Plan and deliver events (virtual and in-person) as part of the marketing mix.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work with Safe to Trade, the UK's first voluntary food safety certification scheme designed specifically for the hospitality industry. Safe to Trade is setting the benchmark for food safety and hygiene, helping businesses demonstrate their commitment to protecting customers while gaining regulator trust.

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing this high-impact consumer brand. You will lead initiatives that build awareness and engagement across B2B and B2C audiences, showcasing the value and credibility of Safe to Trade in the market. Your work will directly influence how hospitality businesses communicate their safety standards, how consumers make confident choices, and how the industry as a whole embraces a new benchmark for quality and compliance.

This is more than marketing a brand-it's championing a movement that elevates food safety standards nationwide. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, leverage data-driven insights, and deliver integrated campaigns that accelerate growth for a brand at the forefront of the hospitality sector.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' marketing experience, ideally with a multi-channel background.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing, with creativity and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, especially around AI and marketing automation.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial focus.
  • Collaborative, passionate, and results-oriented approach.
  • Line management experience.
  • Background in tech, professional services, retail or hospitality sectors preferred.
