What you'll do
As the Brand Marketing Manager for Marks & Spencer, you hold a pivotal role in driving the brand's identity, values, and messaging to target audiences. You're tasked with developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to amplify brand awareness, foster customer engagement, and boost sales. Your role will be to ensure all campaign and project deliverables (strategy, brief, creative development, execution, launch) deliver against the set objectives, on time and on budget.
Whether it is launching a 360-degree TV campaign to drive fame and shift brand perceptions, a one-off activation that drives talkability and relevance with new audiences or helping to shape the marketing plans of our overall brand and family of sub-brands to drive market growth; as a Brand Marketing Manager in the M&S Clothing & Home Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in positively shaping the perceptions of our 130 year old brand M&S for today and the future.
- Support the Head of Marketing to develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies and creative briefs that resonate deeply with target audiences and carve out Marks & Spencer's distinct position in the competitive retail landscape.
- Lead the conceptualisation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across diverse channels including in-store, digital platforms, social media, print, events, TV and VOD etc
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with talent and/or fellow brands to amplify Marks & Spencer's brand reach and cultural relevance.
- Uphold consistency in brand voice and tone across all communication channels (across all paid, earned and own channels).
- Deliver comprehensive reporting and actionable insights to internal stakeholders including senior management and agency partners, highlighting brand performance, prevailing trends, and growth opportunities.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
- Proven track record working in a similar brand marketing role within the retail, fashion, or consumer goods domain.
- A profound understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior and competitive intricacies.
- Exceptional communication, adept at articulating creative concepts and marketing strategies with conviction.
- Demonstrated proficiency in orchestrating integrated marketing campaigns across diverse channels.
