Imago Techmedia is Clarion's leading enterprise technology event series focusing on disruptive technologies and digital transformation. We are seeking a candidate who is a self-starter with excellent communication skills; who is curious; has a creative eye; and can offer experience in delivering high quality work within timescales and budgets. From the start, you will support with the execution of the marketing strategy incorporating automated segmented marketing campaigns, designed through extensive research and customer insight, using a brand-led approach that is befitting of the fast paced, cutting-edge industry that we serve. You'll be supporting two UK based shows - DTX + UCX London and Manchester Tech Week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of integrated multichannel campaigns for both online and offline channels - email, digital, social media, direct mail, advocacy, PR, advertising
  • Supporting the team in the execution of the portfolio marketing strategy achieving maximum penetration through a brand-led approach.
  • Managing and updating event websites from a marketing and content perspective, to ensure maximum engagement and enhanced UX for each product.
  • Creating and repurposing design assets ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to
  • Writing and proofing marketing collateral to include e-shots, direct mail and website copy in our brand tone of voice
  • Producing clear and effective briefing documents for external suppliers and internal service departments.
  • Effectively managing and coordinating external marketing suppliers including creative agencies, mailing houses, photographer/videographer, printers, PR
  • Marketing administration including activity scheduling, proof reading, customer enquiries, monitoring competitor activity, KPI tracking and reporting etc
  • Utilising technology to maximum effect including the use of Trello, Pardot, CDP (Customer Data Platform), Qualified, Gleanin, Canva, Hootsuite etc
  • Ensuring up to date marketing trends are constantly and actively shared with the team to implement and further optimise campaigns.
  • Optimisation of the bottom-up budget, providing recommendations to the team based on channel performance.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the events or exhibition industry is desirable.
  • Strong, collaborative team player.
  • Highly proactive, uses initiative and takes prompt action to accomplish objectives and goals.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative eye with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of using CRM/marketing automation tools would be advantageous.
