Job Outline:

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join us on our mission of building a pan-European investment market for startups and private companies.

You'll be part of an international team focused on increasing Crowdcube's visibility in the UK and positioning the platform as the go-to source for community fundraising and private market investing.

You'll also be working closely with our commercial team in the UK to help define our growth and acquisition strategy for companies looking to work with Crowdcube, while also educating and informing people looking to invest in innovative growth companies.

This role is based in our London office.

What you will be doing:

  • Demand Generation & Capture:
    • Develop and execute initiatives to attract and engage businesses suitable for equity crowdfunding.
    • Work with the marketing team to craft compelling content that appeals to our target audience, then distribute it to them through relevant channels.
    • Measure and report on the impact of these initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to create bespoke decks and assets for sales prospects.
    • When needed, participate in commercial calls and marketing planning sessions with clients to explain and promote our marketing approach.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Own our social media presence across relevant platforms.
    • Develop creative strategies to engage with and continue to grow our community of investors and founders.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators and report on performance.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices:
    • Stay updated on the latest funding and startup industry news.
    • Make recommendations based on research to ensure marketing activities align with best practices.

Ideally you will have:

  • One to two years experience in a commercially-focussed marketing team.
  • An interest in the world of startups and fintechs.
  • The ability to create compelling content (that stands out in feeds and inboxes).
  • Experience in social media management and analytics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to handle ad hoc requests and to balance the proactive with the reactive.

  • £30k - 35k base salary

Our interview process typically consists of an initial phone screen, an interview with the hiring manager, work-based exercise, followed by a final interview with other members of the team.
