This is a critical position within the production team, working on dynamic challenges and varied projects where you will have a tangible effect on the efficiency of Rotork's production.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will ensure continuous improvements of engineering tasks and processes during a transformational period of developments and efficiency gains within the site.

In this senior role, you will design, implement, and document shop floor processes, considering best engineering practices throughout. You will partake in audits, provide technical support, and investigate and resolve problems, suggesting new processes and equipment where applicable and appropriate. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers, manage project timelines and budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency. You will also be responsible for strategic planning, setting technical direction, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

This role suits a proactive candidate motivated by problem-solving and driving solutions forward. You must be a team player with the ability to work independently and possess an analytical mind with an eye for detail.

Experience requirements:

• Experience using CAD software,
• Awareness of techniques like Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement,
• Worked within an engineering production environment with electromechanical products.
• Has the ability to step up and lead a team

• Happy to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised
• Organized with a keen eye for detail.
