As a Workday Finance Engagement Manager, you will lead and deliver Workday Finance projects, overseeing all aspects from project scoping and planning to implementation and go-live support. You will be responsible for managing project teams, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions. Your ability to build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations will be crucial to your success in this role. You will have opportunities to contribute to the development of our Workday Finance practice, sharing your expertise and insights to enhance our service offerings. Essentials:

  • Proven experience leading multiple End to End Workday Finance implementations.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and best practices.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and budgets.
  • Exceptional communication and client management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and manage expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive approach.
  • Understanding of Workday HCM
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Desirables:

  • Presentation & Communication Skills (Advanced): Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. This goes beyond basic communication skills and emphasizes impactful storytelling.
  • Experience with Workday HCM or other HR systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a consulting environment is preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications
    • Must Have: EM/PM Certification and Core Financials
    • Preferred but not essential: HCM
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest Workday Finance technologies and trends.
  • Workday Integrations: Experience with integrating Workday Finance with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, supply chain management, analytics platforms). This demonstrates a broader understanding of enterprise systems and how Workday fits into a holistic technology landscape.
  • Workday Reporting & Analytics: Proficiency in utilizing Workday's reporting and analytics capabilities to extract meaningful insights from data and provide valuable business intelligence to clients. This showcases the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Automated Testing Tools: Familiarity with automated testing tools used in Workday implementations. This shows a commitment to efficient and thorough testing processes.
