The Role
The purpose of a Senior Manager, Transaction Management is to be responsible for managing Structured FI Solutions transactions in line with the BBB's objectives and values. The role involves managing and monitoring the portfolio of commitments made by the wider team.
The Senior Manager will lead on engaging with product colleagues within Structured FI Solutions team to ensure a smooth handover of transactions post-origination and execution, as well as being a key point of contact for a variety of internal and external stakeholders (such as our Delivery Partners, Banking Operations and other parties involved in the transaction).
The Senior Manager, Transaction Management will refer to the relevant product lead for issues which are non-standard, commercially sensitive or require further coordination but otherwise will work independently.
The role may also require helping to develop and, in some cases, directly managing more junior colleagues within the Banking team.
To be considered for this role you must have extensive experience in securitisation or equivalent capital markets transaction structuring or management roles. You must have a good knowledge of relevant regulatory aspects for the role with proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
A deep understanding of different securitisation, asset-backed finance and/or guarantee techniques, structures and operations is essential.
Previous experience of governance structures in financial services institutions and prior line management experience would be highly desirable.
