This role will lead the design, development and growth of the store's activity and capacity One Plan. You will take multiple different sources and data points and deliver these in one concise planning document that can be shared across all business area's and levels to demonstrate a clear plan of what's happening in the stores becoming one clear air traffic control owner for stores. The One plan will hold complex and highly detailed data, but you will be able to simplify into business reporting and metrics to easily communicate the level of change and stores capacity at a daily / weekly level.

You will also lead (In partnership with the stores wider leadership team) the methodology, data and reporting to govern and manage multiple different requests and stakeholders, ensuring we don't overwhelm our support center or stores teams in new change activity. You will also support the Head of Stores Marketing to manage the ongoing governance forum for all stores activity. From brief to acceptance into the store's activity one plan ensuring a clear capacity metric and with a prioritization scoring tool to prioritize change activity into stores

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Planning - Manage the forward planning cycle, ensuring that at any given point in time we have clear visibility of pipeline of work and the capacity to deliver
  • Project management - manage initiatives through the full governance cycle
  • Stakeholder management - Keep our store colleagues at the heart of all decision making and be able to influence and govern at both higher and lower levels with stakeholders in the business to ensure store capacity is manageable
  • Working closely with the many different functions to manage workload and project requests in a timely manner whilst protecting workload for the stores team and with retail ops excellence to ensure timely delivery of executions
  • Being a stores expert and actively seek and identify obstacles and challenges in stores capacity or upcoming activity
  • Business reporting weekly and monthly on our activity plan and our stores capacity
  • Providingleadership and coaching to the wider teams that request all store facing learning and workload communications to retail colleagues in the UK and Ireland store channels
  • Becomingthe air traffic control for all our activity and workload ensuring we land reporting and highlight risk with our colleagues and wider business in an efficient and timely manner
  • Identifying broken processes, colleague pain points and opportunities to remove complexity from our business and activity. Ensures that this insight is translated into our one plan strategy
  • Developing and maintaining long term business and operational relationships to engage and influence the delivery of the stores one plan to the channels and champion the value of the colleague's feedback and stores influence in shaping our future activities

You will need:

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Proven project management and planning skills and tools expertise
  • Leadership and coaching skills with managerial experience
  • Proactive communicator, able to manage change and be demonstrate resilience and a pro-active attitude
  • Excellent data and analytics understanding
  • Strong ability to self-manage and prioritize work. A self-starter able to work on own initiative but equally as part of a team
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Be flexible and able to work well under pressure, in a demanding environment and be able to motivate teams to results
  • Have the ability to absorb complex commercial information and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of our organization
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook/Office 365
  • Project Management qualifications preferred
  • 2-3 years retail experience
  • Line manger experience
