Job Description

The role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to accelerate our business expansion in the UK and Ireland. Central to your role will be the ambitious aim of driving revenue growth for Checkout.com through customer-centric demand generation efforts. You'll be entrusted with the helm of a regional integrated marketing strategy, ensuring its flawless cross-channel execution. It's essential to understand that ABM is more than just a component-it's the very essence of our approach. Your efforts will amplify our engagement with target accounts, creating and fast-tracking opportunities. Reporting directly to Senior Director of Global Enterprise Marketing, you'll be a part of a vibrant team spanning multiple regions.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Regional Marketing Leadership: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, cross-channel marketing plan for the UK/I region, driving revenue growth and brand awareness.
  • Campaign Design and Execution: Design and oversee region-specific marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on implementing diversified ABM strategies (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) to effectively engage and nurture key accounts.
  • Executive Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including regular reporting, presenting strategic plans, and providing insights to inform decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Budget Allocation and Optimization: Manage marketing budgets at a strategic level, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI and drive business outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive alignment, support and execution on marketing initiatives across the business.
  • Innovative Strategy Development: Drive innovative marketing strategies, exploring new approaches, and championing experimentation to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving market landscape.
  • Analytical Insight: Utilize tools such as Looker, Pardot, Salesforce, 6sense, and Google Analytics to measure the impact and ROI of marketing activities, and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Market Alignment: Stay informed about regional market dynamics to ensure marketing efforts align with both global strategies and local preferences.
  • Regional Brand Advocacy: Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the local market to enhance Checkout.com's brand presence and reputation.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in strategic B2B marketing, with a focus on account-based marketing. Experience in payments, fintech, or related industries is desirable.
  • You have excellent communication skills across all levels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging various marketing channels, including events, social media, content, PR, and email marketing and more.
  • Proactive in addressing challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and proven track record in solving complex problems.
  • You know how to manage complex projects, set priorities, delegate tasks, monitor budgets and inspire cross-functional teams to action.
  • Expert in leveraging marketing technology tools for performance tracking and ROI analysis, as well as providing actionable recommendations to drive improvements.
  • Ability to explore innovative strategies. inspire others to rally behind an idea and drive effective execution.
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to achieve shared goals and deliver value for world's leading brands.
