Description
The primary focus of this role is to lead the Pan-European Paid Search strategy, with a secondary emphasis on providing cross-channel data insights. You will collaborate closely with regional teams, media partners, and our agency to drive exceptional results. The role combines strategic leadership with data-driven analysis to optimise regional Paid Search campaigns, ensuring performance is continually improved through ongoing optimisation and testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the Pan-European Paid Search strategy, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals while adapting to regional market nuances.
- Cultivate strong relationships with our Paid Search agency and key media partners (Google, Bing, etc.) to ensure seamless execution and maximum impact. Collaborate with regional digital marketing teams to deliver bespoke regionally nuanced campaigns.
- Oversee day-to-day campaign management, utilising performance data to continuously refine and optimise campaigns. Lead A/B testing initiatives and performance reviews to drive improved subscriber acquisition metrics (CVR, CPA etc.) across all markets.
- Provide actionable insights derived from both in-platform data and advanced models like Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA). Use these insights to inform broader marketing strategies and performance optimisations.
- Prepare and present weekly performance reports, offering clear, concise summaries of key metrics and actionable insights to stakeholders. Ensure that campaign performance, risks, and opportunities are effectively communicated in trading meetings.
- Management and career development of 1x PPC manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven track record in Paid Search, including hands-on experience within a media agency and managing multi-market campaigns.
- Deep understanding of Paid Search strategies, trends, and bid management platforms (e.g. Search Ads 360, Marin, Kenshoo).
- Strong interest in the digital marketing landscape, particularly within the entertainment industry.
- Ability to analyse data and deliver actionable insights, with a keen eye for detail and focus on campaign optimisation.
- Clear communication skills, capable of translating data into prioritised actionable insights - understanding business priorities and objectives
- Fluency in English required; additional languages relevant to SkyShowtime markets are a plus.
