Senior Manager, Platform Access Development/ Technical Product Manager - Immediate Start available

Summary:

Support PCCW Global's Console Connect platform strategy by owning, driving and implementing customer self-serve selection, ordering and management of resold/bundled services and products from third-party vendors and partners. Discover, analyze and define the customer, commercial and operational requirements and roadmaps for new services and service enhancements. Serve as a primary liaison with the technical development teams (Agile Release Trains), customer representatives, vendors, stakeholders and delivery and operations teams to ensure the product initiatives add value to customers, are scoped properly and progress on schedule.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for new services and service enhancements based on self-service resale of vendors partners services/products.
  • Drive "the whole product" through collaboration with marketing, sales, delivery, operations, support and vendor management teams.
  • Develop and implement methods to capture and measure demand for new services and service enhancements from customers, and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap and workflows to onboard vendors to supply underlying service components using automated (API-based) methods for quoting, ordering etc..
  • Serve as the overall lifecycle manager for these Console Connect services/products.
  • Understand current manual operational workflows and engage with delivery and operations teams and other stakeholders to enable smooth transition to, and continuous improvement of automated workflows.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of the automation capabilities of key vendors, mapping out a plan of progression.
  • Participate in the Third Party Capital ART to define the scope and specific requirements of automated engagement with third party vendors.
  • Support the VP Vendor Management in other automation and development initiatives as requested.

Skills/Qualifications

Candidate should have experience and abilities as follows:

  • 5-10 years' experience in the telecommunications/ IT/ Tech industry with preference given to experience in the areas of product management, and application project management - ideally where 3rd party components are used or resold
  • Experience with workflow automation and API production and consumption
  • Experience in working and collaborating with software engineering teams
  • Ability to work comfortably in a matrix management environment
  • Ability to think "out-of-the-box"
  • Ability to independently manage a wide spectrum of activities, tasks and projects
  • Ability to effectively manage project schedules and changing terms and conditions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • University degree or equivalent work experience.
