You will have the opportunity to work with senior client executives and a wide range of functional teams across a broad range of industries, helping them build resilience to a diverse set of strategic, operational and technology risks. Examples of the some of the engagements you may undertake include:
- The design and implementation of a large-scale resilience transformation programmes to meet regulatory, government and societal expectations across a number of different sectors.
- Operational readiness programmes for major events and change initiatives (e.g. sporting events, technology 'go live' and strategic product launches).
- Resilience testing, including scenario stress testing.
- Crisis and incident framework design.
- Deploying on a live responses to support a client in managing an issue or crisis.
- Post-event reviews following a high-profile incident or crisis.

We are looking for applicants with the following professional skills and competencies:
As a Senior Manager in RRCR, predominantly operating within the Financial Services industry, you will lead and deliver complex engagements focused on enhancing organisational resilience for our clients. You will leverage your deep industry expertise and regulatory knowledge to guide clients through the evolving landscape of resilience, advising operational, senior management, C-suite, and board-level stakeholders on best practices and transformative solutions. This role requires a proven track record in delivery excellence, problem solving, risk management, business development, client relationship management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of complex client engagements, including project scoping, budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality, on time, and within budget. Example engagements include:
- Resilience transformation programmes aligned with global regulatory requirements.
- Contingency planning for high-impact events (cyberattacks, supply chain disruptions, pandemics).
- Operational readiness for major events and change initiatives (M&A, technology implementations, product launches).
- Crisis and incident framework design, crisis management exercises, and resilience testing.
- Live crisis response support.
- Post-event reviews and analysis.
- Actively contribute to go-to-market activities, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and driving commercial success.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders within client organisations, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic guidance on resilience matters.
- Provide expert advice to clients across a range of resilience disciplines, including operational resilience, business continuity, third-party risk management, crisis management, and cyber resilience. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership and innovative solutions to enhance our market presence and demonstrate our expertise in resilience.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Contribute to internal projects, eminence, and initiatives aimed at building and strengthening our resilience practice and market presence.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of resilience principles and practices, including relevant global regulatory requirements and industry best practices within financial services. Specific knowledge of UK PRA and FCA operational resilience and EU Digital Operational Resilience Act regulations is essential.
- Proven experience leading and delivering complex advisory engagements within the financial services industry. Experience of change and transformation is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial services organisations across the sub-sectors, their operations, services, technology, and associated risks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Strong consultative skills, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience in three or more resilience-related disciplines (e.g., Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, IT Service Continuity, Crisis Management, Contingency Planning, Scenario Risk Modelling, Cloud Resilience, Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk Management, Supply Chain Resilience).
- Flexibility to travel to client locations, including internationally, and work additional hours dependant on project demands.
