As a Senior Manager, you will drive the successful execution and management of critical components or workstreams within integration and separation engagements. Leveraging advanced programme management skills, you will guide client teams through the full M&A lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, insightful outputs and fostering trusted advisory relationships with senior client counterparts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or co-lead sections of end-to-end engagements, applying advanced programme management skills to structure and guiding client teams through the full M&A lifecycle
  • Deliver high-quality, insightful client outputs, encompassing effective storyboarding, in-depth analysis, and thorough quality assurance (QA)
  • Proactively identify, analysing, and resolving complex issues, leveraging extensive experience and resources with a strong bias for action
  • Confident planning and leading client meetings, focusing on delivery outcomes
  • Own and cultivate distinctive, trusted advisory relationships with senior client counterparts
  • Proactively challenge and influence senior team members on innovative and efficient approaches and solutions
  • Create engagement budgets and pricing, and oversee comprehensive budget management and cost reporting
  • Demonstrate comprehensive industry sector expertise
  • Oversee project initiation and close-down phases, ensuring strict adherence to Quality & Risk Management (QRM) governance and best practices
  • Takes responsibility for ensuring compliance with Deloitte's client and engagement acceptance processes & policies

We are seeking a highly capable individual who can demonstrate the following essential skills and professional experience to drive performance and deliver impactful results which includes:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of the M&A process/transaction lifecycle/deal processes and the various parties involved
  • Programme management experience in top-tier corporate institution(s) or consulting firm(s) and capacity to assist with the design, development and delivery of varied programmes and/or project initiatives
  • Leading, mentoring and coaching team members through challenging and fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in delivering change management and transformation initiatives e.g., technology or business process changes
  • Ability to influence client decisions, manage expectations and navigate complex political landscapes
  • Ability to deconstruct ambiguous and multi-faceted I&S challenges, identify root causes and develop practical strategic solutions
  • Aptitude to critically challenge business plans and underlying assumptions in a logical, evidenced manner
  • Ability to knowledgeably discuss strategy and implications of options with clients
  • Natural ability and instinct to build and maintain trusted relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Strong facilitation and consensus building skills
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Strong industry or sector expertise
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for the purposes of clearly communicating to clients, stakeholders and teams
  • Full travel mobility
