Senior Manager, Hospitality & Events - 7 Month FTC

Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Hospitality & Events Manager (or Senior Manager) to play a key role in the delivery of world-class guest experiences across major international sporting events. This is an exciting opportunity to join our high-performing team and help deliver premium hospitality and logistics programmes for leading global brands and their guests - including, but not limited to, UEFA Champions League Final.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end operational planning and delivery of guest services, accommodation, transport, and onsite logistics. Working closely with clients, vendors, and partners, you will ensure a seamless and exceptional experience from arrival to departure for all stakeholders.

This is a fixed-term position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about sport and live events, and brings a meticulous, solutions-oriented approach to complex operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the planning and execution of hospitality operations across multiple major sports events.

• Lead the delivery of accommodation, transport, and guest logistics programmes from planning through to onsite delivery.

• Develop and manage guest journey plans, including airport arrivals, hotel check-ins, event transfers, and onsite support.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver seamless hospitality and event experiences.

Project & Supplier Management

• Contract, brief, and manage third-party suppliers, including hotels, transport providers and staffing agencies.

• Manage relationships with venues, rights holders, and key stakeholders to ensure operational plans align with event requirements.

• Oversee ticketing allocations, guest management systems, registration processes, and onsite welcome operations.

• Ensure all operational plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation are delivered accurately and on time.

Guest Experience & Onsite Delivery

• Lead guest services teams onsite, ensuring exceptional standards of service and attention to detail.

• Deliver hotel operations, including room block management, F&B coordination, branding, and welcome desk setup.

• Support the planning and execution of ancillary hospitality events, meetings, and brand experiences.

• Work closely with transport and logistics teams to integrate guest travel and event-day operations.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor project performance, manage budgets, and lead reconciliation and reporting post-event.

• Provide clear communication and regular updates to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to process improvements and share best practices for future projects.

Qualifications + Skills

This role is ideal for someone with strong ticketing management experience, a passion for major sports events, and exceptional organisational skills.

Essential Experience and Skills:

• Proven track record in event operations, logistics, or hospitality delivery - ideally within sport, entertainment, or major live events.

• Strong understanding of guest experience, hospitality, and ticketing operations.

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

• Experience managing third-party suppliers, venues, and operational partners.

• Confident working with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and rights holders.

• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

• Experience working on behalf of agencies, sponsors, or rights holders is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working with a global brand sponsor or rights holder in sports events.

• Agency or hospitality operations background.

• Passion for football and live events.
