Right now, we're looking for a new colleague to join our Global Key Accounts Team in the position of Senior Manager, Global Key Account Management.
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as Team Lead and senior resource for Regional Key Account Managers, managing and coaching them to drive positively impact win ratios/new business development.
- Provide accessible daily leadership to handle escalations, coaching, internal review sessions and external customer meetings for the team that you lead.
- Drive best practice and innovation, educating broader Global Account teams about regional capabilities.
- Develop compelling customer stories, connect customer needs to existing capabilities, and engage SMEs for future solutions.
- Act as a strategic advisor and escalation within the Regional customer engagements.
- Create and drive the Regional roadmap, contributing to the broader Global Account Plans, and support direct reports in developing regional roadmaps.
- Foster regional relationships at multiple levels within both customer and APLL organizations.
- Support new business pursuits, product development, and expansion of APLL's customer base, in partnership with business development colleagues.
- Facilitate network connectivity between customer and peer group that they would be well served to engage with
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 15+ years of work experience within the transportation and logistics industry and strong background within international purchase order management
- Background in Global Account Management
- Customer driven; action-oriented
- Creative ability to develop sales strategies and solutions; presenting innovative solutions to customers
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills in managing cross functional teams to meet objectives
