Job description
Connect to your Industry
There are five characteristics that we must continue to develop if we are to become the winning business in FY27. These are the 'What' of our Ambition - what we need to do to differentiate ourselves from the competition and respond to the ever-changing expectations of our clients and our people. These are being Purpose-led, Universal Leaders, Inclusive Culture, Global Scale and Local Reach, Advisory Depth, Delivery Strength and, Digital First.
We will do this by delivering on six strategic shifts - four of which are market-facing and two enabling shifts.
These six shifts are all very different in nature, but they do all have common attributes. Most importantly, they are all critical to our clients and therefore critical to our business. They are also all interdependent - we'll realise more value in our integrated businesses if we can align our enabling functions. If we build a strategic advisory capability, it will only be successful if it operates across multiple geographies and EMEA. And if we're going to really push the boundaries of delivery centres and significantly increase delivery centre client service hours, we need to improve our leadership development to be able to manage the range of cultures, skills and expectations of a remote workforce.
Transformation of this scale is not easy, but it is critical if we are to continue to put distance between us and the competition and respond to the demands of you, our people, and our clients. That's why we have put some of our most experienced leaders in charge of making these shifts a reality.
The NSE Finance function plays a pivotal role enabling the Ambition 2.0 transformation journey, and as our portfolio grows, we must develop both the expertise and depth within our team. We are now actively looking to identify and onboard an experienced Finance Professional to take up the role of 'NSE Finance - Senior Manager, External Reporting'.
This role provides a unique opportunity to use your technical accounting and external reporting skills in a professional services organisation - working in a group function in the NSE Finance team and collaborating effectively with Deloitte colleagues across NSE's Geographies, service providers and indeed around the world.
Collaboration is central to everything we do at Deloitte. Bringing your individual skills and experience, and sharing your specialist knowledge, is how you'll make a far-reaching impact. You can be assured no two days are ever the same, if this interests you, then read on.
